What is a Resource Spot?
RESOURCE SPOT: A PLACE FOR GUESTS TO GET A HOT MEAL, MEET BASIC FELT NEEDS, GET CONNECTED TO SPECIALIZED RESOURCES, and experience the GOOD NEWS OF JESUS.
THESE SPOTS ARE FOCUSED ON REACHING THOSE AFFECTED BY HOMELESSNESS, ADDICTION, POVERTY, ETC.
HOW IT WORKS
These Resource Spots are mobile, usually monthly, events where individuals get a hot meal, meet basic felt needs, get connected to resources, and experience the Good News of Jesus.
Every resource spot can look a little different, but some of the resources offered may include: showers, hair cuts, clean clothes, blankets, and more.
As individuals build relationships and begin following Jesus, we equip them to gather in regular micro-churches. Often, these meet weekly in same spot that the Resource Spot is located. However, they might also meet in camps, rehab programs, parks, homes, etc.
